Job Description: Front Desk Receptionist/CSR
Location: Natomas, CA
Pay Rate: $20/hour
We are seeking a professional and highly organized Front Desk Receptionist/ Call Center Rep to join our healthcare company in Natomas. As the first point of contact for clients, patients, and employees, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, managing high call volumes, scheduling appointments, and handling a variety of clerical tasks in a dynamic call center environment.
Responsibilities:
Answer and manage approximately 200+ incoming calls daily with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring all inquiries are promptly addressed or appropriately transferred.
Greet and assist clients, patients, and visitors with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming environment.
Schedule appointments accurately, coordinate calendars, and send reminders.
Resolve client and patient issues or concerns by providing clear information and direction, escalating complex matters as needed.
Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, maintaining records, and ordering office supplies.
Collaborate with the internal team to ensure seamless communication and operational flow.
Maintain knowledge of company policies, procedures, and services to provide accurate information to callers and visitors.
Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards at all times.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a receptionist, healthcare, or call center role is preferred.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to handle high call volumes professionally.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in scheduling software, Microsoft Office Suite, and general office equipment.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with patience and care.
A customer-focused and solutions-oriented attitude.
Knowledge of healthcare industry practices is a plus.
